The Firm advises small business owners on business formation issues including proper corporate form, tax minimization, maintaining applicable corporate formalities, maximizing the protection of personal assets through correct formation and operation and serves as one stop general counsel in corporate risk and business operation. We seek a long term relationship with our clients and are sensitive to cost/benefit legal advice. Because of the business education and background of Steven E. Thompson, the client can be assured that legal advice blends with business objectives.

Litigation
The Firm litigates business disputes involving less than $50,000 to more than a million dollars. The Firm utilizes its "in house" of counsel lawyers, when appropriate, to assist or take the lead in such litigation. A review of the respective backgrounds of Steven E. Thompson and his in house outside counsel demonstrates the large firm training and capabilities to engage in litigation against any adversarial firm. The Firm litigates all business to business disputes and other offensive and defensive litigation matters on behalf of its clients.

Probate and Estate Planning
The Firm handles Probate and Estate Planning including Will and Trust preparation, probating Wills, assisting in administration, heirship proceedings, and Will contests. Such matters are handled balancing legal and sensitive personal dynamics inherent in this area of the law.

Environmental
Steven E. Thompson has a background in chemical engineering and has worked for twelve years advising Fortune 500 companies down to small businesses in regulatory compliance issues. Steven E. Thompson has also defended such clients in front of the United States Environmental Protection Agency and most every state and local environmental agency. Steven E. Thompson is experienced in administrative enforcement actions and civil litigation involving all environmental or toxic tort matters.
Terrell Hunt serves "of counsel" to the firm on Federal environmental matters. Mr. Hunt worked for the United States Environmental Protection Agency for eighteen years.
